Xaphoon

The Xaphoon is a reed instrument. It was invented by Brian Wittman in Maui, Hawaii, and is made of bamboo. It has nine playing holes and is played with open playing style and additional cross fingering in order to be able to play more notes and scales. Because of its carinet and saxophone like timbre it is often called "bamboo sax".
